  The EETT Project

The vision of the EETT (Enhancing Education Through Technology) Project Laptops: Inspiring, Exploring, Achieving, is to improve student writing and reading across the curriculum, with an emphasis in the science and social studies content areas. Curriculum content was taught through the framework of research with culminating projects published in this District Web Magazine. Technology was integrated throughout each step of the research as a tool to facilitate the process. Students, much like real-world authors, brainstormed, set goals, researched, organized, evaluated and created projects for this online magazine publication. Students used the Independent Investigation Method (IIM) of research, effective critical thinking skills and project based learning. In addition to all the resources that the teachers had, they maintained PortaPortal list of websites. Please visit our amazing collection of websites for our EETT Project on PortaPortal.

  Our  Mission

We believe it is the school's responsibility to identify and nurture each child's special ability. We are committed to exposing our students to many experiences so they may discover areas in which they can excel. We will provide a supportive environment that encourages lifelong learning. We set high expectations and explore new technologies and strategies to meet individual needs of our students.

block  Staff-Development

JDL Technologies provided the staff development for the EETT Project in Madison County. Their experienced staff developers brought their expertise into the schools and worked directly with students and teachers! JDL Technologies brought project-based learning to life in the classrooms while creating a learning environment that engaged teachers and students in real-world projects.
